Air Source Heat Pumps Norfolk

HeatKing

The BWarm I-Range of Air Source Heat Pumps

Renewable Solutions supply Air Source Heat Pumps in and around Norfolk, we only provide units which are MCS authorised to comply with the Renewable heat incentive.

The BWarm i range of Air Source Heat pumps use renewable energy to heat a home and provide domestic hot water with a water flow temperature up to 65°C. An energy efficient alternative to traditional heating methods, the units extract the ambient air from outside a home and transform this in an electrically powered heat exchanger to achieve an energy output of up to five times that of the energy input.

Grant Aerona

Grant Aerona Air Source Heat Pump

The Grant Aerona Range of Air Source Heat Pumps are a sleek and stylish, competitively priced series of Renewable Energy, which encompass proven reliable technology and simple but highly efficient controls, to guarantee ease of installation and reliability.

Grant Aerona Air Source Heat Pumps are MCS approved
Available in five MCS Renewable Heat Incentive approved ‘single phase’ units, these units have outputs ranging from 6.5kW-15.5kW (not including the immersion back up).

The Aerona Air Source Heat Pumps feature many innovative components, including the integration of a highly efficient weather compensating device with dual temperature control and a 3kW electrical heat backup (there is also a factory fitted option to upgrade the electrical backup to 6kW, by special order). This arrangement allows the unit to perform more efficiently than some other heat pump designs, giving a reliable heat output, using less power, resulting in lower running costs. The design also allows for easy installation, into a new or existing S-plan type configuration.

The Grant Aerona Air Source Heat Pumps are very compact, sited externally, and requires no storage space for fuel, therefore leaving more valuable room inside the home.

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) has been developed by the Renewable Energy Association (REA) to provide financial support to encourage homeowners, businesses and communities to switch to natural energy sources, which will be available in June 2011.

Eligible heat technologies

The government has asked how other technologies might be recognised, and has already proposed tariff levels for the following:

  • Ground/Air source heat pumps
  • Anaerobic digestion to produce bio gas for heat production
  • Biomass heat generation and CHP
  • Liquid bio fuels (but only when replacing oil-fired heating systems)
  • Solar thermal heat and hot water.
